Weapons Charges In Tobermory

Two men from Tobermory have been arrested on charges of assault with a weapon.

Two men from Tobermory have been arrested on charges of assault with a weapon.

On Saturday June 16th, Bruce Peninsula OPP were called to Cedar Escapes Cottages in Tobermory about two suspicious men with hand guns.

Police found one suspect with a real-looking pellet hand gun.

A second man was arrested shortly afterwards when he walked out of a bush.

Police also seized a knife and two batons, from the men.

OPP say the suspects went to the cottage, intending to assault another man.

36-year-old Andrew Lozon and 18-year-old MacKenzie Paterek both of Tobermory are charged with assault with a weapon.
