Mono Declared a "Bee City"

A pollinator garden created on Hockley Road brings in pollinating bees.

The Town of Mono is officially being recognized as a Bee City.

Mono received the designation by the creation of a pollinator garden.

The 2 acre plot of land on Hockley Road has been worked on since 2016 and has a specific type of plants that attract bees that use it to pollinate.

The garden has over 2,200 perennials and trees along with walking trails and educational signs.
