Active living is getting some pedal power in Seaforth.
Municipal officials are partnering with the Huron County Health Unit for a mini-bike rally in the Huron East town.
Economic Development Officer Jan Hawley says the rally is in promotion of bike paths scheduled for Seaforth in the coming years.
Hawley tells Country 104.9 News the goal is to inspire other municipalities to create the infrastructure necessary for cyclists to better access their communities.
Part of the funding for the future bike paths in Seaforth was provided through the provincial Gas Tax Fund.
The bike rally runs behind Seaforth Town Hall (69 Main Street South) Tuesday at 11:30 a.m..
The rally is free to attend.
