Drug-Impaired Charge

Alcona | by Ian MacLennan

When the driver was asked for her licence by police, she was more than a little confused.

A 24 year old Innisfil woman is facing a drug-impaired charged after a car mounted a curb and wound up on the grass shoulder in Alcona.

When a South Simcoe police officer asked the female driver for her licence, she handed over her Esso Extra points card.

Following a second request,  she produced a bank card.

The woman was transported to hospital because of her disoriented state.
