Fire At Four-Plex Displaces 10 People

Orillia fire crews say the blaze started in the back bedroom of an upper floor apartment.

Damage is pegged at $200,000 following a fire at a four-plex in Orillia.

The blaze on High Street, between Highway 12 and Simcoe Street, erupted yesterday afternoon.

No injuries to the 10 people that were living in the building, who have been displaced.

Fire department says the flames started in the back bedroom of a top floor apartment and spread to the attic.

A cause has not been determined.
