One man is in custody as OPP say a suspicious death near Vanastra is now a murder investigation.
The body of 27-year-old Laura Wigelsworth was discovered Thursday morning on Front Road after she failed return home from a walk Wednesday evening.
Officers say a post mortem made the determination is was now a murder investigation.
OPP say on Saturday afternoon they took a man into custody in connection with the case.
Officers say due to the ongoing nature of this investigation further details cannot be released at this time.
Meanwhile, A candlelight vigil is set for tonight in Vanastra to remember the mother of three.
It is planned for 7pm at the Vanastra Christian Church parking lot.
According to a Go fund, she was engaged to be married in August of this year.
The funds will be used for the funeral cost. Any leftover money will go to cover final expenses and finally set up educational funds for the children.
Members from the Huron County OPP Detachment along with investigators from the West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Randy Wright of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) continue to investigate.
