A celebration of the Goderich-To-Guelph (G2G) rail trail is entering its eighth year.
The Spring On The Trail bicycle ride runs Saturday in Canada's Prettiest Town, promoting healthy and active lifestyles by enjoying the region's former CPR rail bed.
Executive Coordinator of the G2G Rail Trail Experience, Grace Vanden Heuvel, says the trail has undergone major transformations in recent years.
Vanden Heuvel points to resurfacing of the trail, and the building of several bridges and kiosks along the 127 kilometre route to rest and refill water containers.
A new kiosk will also be introduced Saturday outside Walton, along McNaught Line near Blyth Road (Hwy 25), with a barbecue following the unveiling.
360 Bikes & Boards will have a number of men's and women's bicycles for rent at the Menesetung Bridge in Goderich Saturday morning.
