Help Make Kincardine's Beach Beautiful Again

Kincardine | by Travis Jackson

The beach clean up will take place Saturday from 10am-1pm.

The 3rd annual Earth Day Beach Clean will be taking place in Kincardine this Saturday from 10am-1pm.

If you love our beaches, then come out and prove it!

Co-operators Insurance - Jennifer Cook & Associates Inc. will provide all necessary items for the clean up, bring your kids or spouse and help out.

Clean up will start at Tiny Tot Park and end at Station Beach.

Co-operators will supply the gloves and garbage bags. They are supplying coffee and donuts. To avoid excess waste, they invite you to 'bring your own mug to chug'

This is a family friendly event and all are welcome to attend.

Though the event is supposed to be centred around Earth Day, the winter weather forced a delay.

They are hoping the weather 'co-operates' for the rescheduled time.

Kincardine Co-operators Office Administrator Jess Meyer says that if it rains, the event will be indefinitely postponed until next year.

Organizers encourage residents and visitors to clean up the community continually and avoid littering so we can keep Kincardine beautiful all year round.
