Time is running out to have your say on Brockton’s new branding project.

Time is running out to have your say on Brockton’s new branding project.

The municipality is hosting two additional Community Focus Groups today.

The first session takes place at the Elmwood Community Centre at 4 pm today (Apr. 24th) followed by an evening session at the Cargill Community Centre at 7 pm.

Mayor David Inglis strongly encourages residents, community members and business owners to attend.

He says Brockton is in the process of creating a brand that provides the municipality with its own unique identity.

Today’s focus sessions will provide the public with one more opportunity to have their say in Brockton’s new Branding Initiative before consultants put together their final report.

If you can't attend either focus session, you can still have your say by participating in the online survey at www.Brockton.ca/HaveYourSay .

Be sure to do is soon though, because the deadline to participate in the survey is Friday April 27th.

By having the public play such a vital role through public consultation and survey’s, Inglis says it will ensure the new brand truly reflects the unique identity of Brockton.

He says the new brand will play an important role in recruitment efforts to attract new new business, new residents and new visitors to Brockton.

After today’s final pubic consultations sessions and this week’s survey results the consultants will have enough information to develop Brockton's new brand.

The new brand will be unveiled in late May.
