A documentary on lemur conservation by a Goderich filmmaker is set to make its debut.
Photographer and videographer Devin Sturgeon visited Madagascar last year with Huron County Native, Dr. Amber Walker-Bolton.
During his visit, Sturgeon documented lemur conservation efforts at the country's Berenty Reserve.
The feature will be Sturgeon's first foray into filmmaking.
He tells us children and educators in southern Madagascar take great pride in their conservation efforts, something he would like to see reflected worldwide.
The lemur documentary premieres at the Huron County Museum Thursday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., and the filming beginning at 7:00 p.m..
