The Owen Sound Attack took care of business on home ice to take a 2-0 series lead over the London Knights.
Brett McKenzie had a pair of goals including one on the power play 4:43 into overtime as the Attack edged the Knights 4-3 in Game 2 of their Ontario Hockey League quarter-final series Saturday night at the Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound.
The Knights nearly made off with a road win but Alan Lyszczarczyk tied the game with 49 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
Aidan Dudas also scored for the Attack, which erased 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 deficits.
Alex Formenton had a hat trick for the Knights.
Olivier Lafreniere made 18 saves in the win, while Joseph Raaymakers stopped 43 taking the loss.
The Attack outshot the Knights 47-21 while going 2 for 6 on the power play; London finished 1 for 2.
The series now shifts to London for Games 3 and 4.
Game 3 is Monday night while Game 4 goes Thursday.
