Suspicious Death in Wiarton

OPP say they are treating the death of a 61 year old woman as suspicious.

OPP now are treating a death of woman in Wiarton as suspicious.

Officers were originally called on Wednesday to a Division street home to investigate the death of a 61 year old woman.

Following an autopsy, officers say the death is considered suspicious in nature

The investigation remains ongoing under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Randy Gaynor of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) with the assistance of Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS).
